End of Summer Reading Party -- August 13, 11am
We survived summer reading!! Come celebrate the end of the program with us as we play games, listen to music, raffle off prizes, and make our own ice cream! This party is open to any child who participates in the summer reading program, even if he or she does not complete a reading goal. Family and friends are welcome too, and each program participant can choose a book to take home to keep!
Special Programming
Check here for any special programs we having going on, or coming up soon. Everything we do is free and open to the public!
NEW! Home Visits for Children's Materials
We are excited to be offering home visits now! Are you a stay-at-home mom? Do you care for your kids and/or grandchildren or neighbor's children in your home? Do you run a daycare in your home (licensed or not, doesn't matter!) I'd be happy to come by and bring you books or one of our new literacy bags that includes books and toys on one of 12 different topics. Is it better for you to meet me somewhere in town or somewhere that isn't your home? Just tell me when and where, and I'll be there with books and toys to share. This service is new, totally free with your library card, and designed to make things easier on you. Please call the library at 472-5948 or send us an email at [email protected] or even leave us a message in the comment box on our website if you'd like to sign up for delivery. This service is confidential, and no identifying information is reported or recorded for our use or for the granting agency that has funded this project, or to any other agency of any kind. We just want to get you books to read with your little ones!
